the wettest place on earth

sunday, myself, michael, darren and steve all headed out to disneyland. michael and i got there early and hod some lunch and went on buzz lightyear look at us saving little green men! pew pew (those would be laser sounds) pew pew!
darren and steve showed up shortly after our space rangering and saving the universe and we made our rounds through the park. now it had begun to sprinkle a bit, but nothing too bad, but the park was empty so it was really nice! after some rides, we decided to head over to california adventure... litte did we know the adventure we were in store for (see the foreshadowing there... ooh!)

as we walked through the castle to head down main street the rain really kicked in as did the wind. michael and i were sharing an umbrella and darren and steve were sharing one. well the one steve was holding kept decided to turn inside out from the gusts of wind that started, then we had to walk hunched over with our umbrellas in front of us as the rain came down horizontally. and since the wind was so strong one of those giant umbrella's that covers the popcorn stands twisted around and came right out of the holder and went flying, but luckily a park goer caught it... all while the employee just watched it blow away as if it were a paper bag in the wind.

this entire time we spent in laughter, i was laughing so hard i almost fell over and i was crying... it was just so hilarious, you really had to be there i guess. cause as i type this i'm not even finding it the least bit funny at all... oh well you win some, you lose some.

and by the time we made it to the front of the park, the sun was out and the rain gone... with only our lower halves soaked to show the storm we had just braved.

cheese fest 08

this weekend was cheese fest where myself, michael, darren, steve, jessy, and (as we call her) maria va-hey-hey banana cum-stain (a co-worker of jessy's) ate so much cheese i wanted to die.

for me and michael it started w/ chic-fil-a (what a delicious place!) as it is right by steve's and we hadn't had anything to eat all day (it was 3:30 by now). so once we arrive at steve's i dunno 10 minutes later, we eat spinach artichoke dip covered in delicious cheese. jessy and MVHHBCS hadn't shown up (they got there at like 7 which felt like an eternity cause somehow we were hungry). so they missed out on this since we ate it all.

while we waited we watched camp out on logo... about a gay christian summer camp. we mostly just made fun of the kids on it... easy targets.

then once jessy and MVHHBCS arrived we watched return to fat camp! cause it is where we are all headed soon. and the cheese fest continued. a salad w/ warm goat cheese (i believe) and then cheese, cheese and more cheese lasagna, mmmm so good!

fat camp was hilarious, oh! the drama. "stupid big dirty bitch gave me and the counselor lice..." will forever be a part of our vernacular (wow what a big word i useded). as will "my bows". if you haven't seen it you must catch it if it comes on again.

this was followed up by the va-hey-hey banana cum stain dessert... good times!

the next day we went to qdoba for lunch and for some reason i felt the need to get more cheese... the queso burrito and chips and a side of queso... wth? i felt like a lard bucket the rest of the day!

but this was my last weekend of eating bad, i have gained far too much weight so i'm jumping back on the point system w/ weight watchers. i want to be able to wear my skinny clothes again!

frak me

Ok real quick here is the run down:

Woke up: felt like crap... Pounding headache...frak me

So of course I was late...frak me

Then I get to my car and there is something wrong w/ the tire pressure in the front left tire...frak me

So I figure I’m already late might as well be really late and go to the dealer to check it out...

As I am waiting to pull out some city vehicle decides to block the right lane on hill hanging out into traffic blocking the right lane on 3rd...frak me

I pull out and this a$$wipe won’t let me in so I had to circle all the way around (I had to go left on hill) to get back to the freeway...frak me

Nothing wrong w/ my tire (small yay) so they reset the system.

Get to work and this stupid project I got sucked into has changes to it...frak me

I get an email form my marketing person that we are going to have to look at changing one of the packages... My favorite one...frak me

So at this point I just wanted to email back a big ‘ol FrakU GTH YMFAW IHYFG IHUDUFF... (I can explain those later if you can’t decipher)

So I am taking a comp day tomorrow and we were all given Friday off... I can’t wait to not be here.

For the first time I hated my job today.

And I hate being in abed mood but I just feel so fed up GAHHAHAHAHAHAAH.

introducing my new kitty chompers! isn't he adorable! he goes for his first visit at the vet tomorrow so wish him luck!







it's been great having him be there when i get home, he's so cute and quirky. he has been a bit annoying waking me up in the middle of the night wanting to play, but he's so cute how can i stay mad at him. and so far my apartment is surviving his wrath, haha.

gimme moore part 2

so mandy was awesomeness... so good and we were so thankful she went on before paula cole, cause we were not looking forward to that! she sang songs off her new album, wild hope that was AMAZING and to top the night she performed umbrella and a rock/pop version of candy very close to the original, they even busted out the xylophone!

and in other news... i've been inspired by the cleaning job i did on my cubicle at work... it took 3 days but i totally cleaned it up and it's so nice! and after watching episode after episode of clean house (w/ ms. niecy nash, mmmmmm!) great show and spent most of labor day weekend cleaning my place and it is finally coming together. still got some things to go through, but i am making room for a new edition... i'm getting a kitten this weekend! yay! mr had a stray cat couple adopt them and it ended up the momma was preggers. she had three adorable little boys and one will be coming home with me on friday and i'm so excited! so be prepared for lots of pics of my new kitty! and i think i've settled on a name: chompers :)

mortified.... and the past 6 months

so, while i'm being sent hate comments...kq... it was a book that made me think i need to get back to blogging. for those of you who haven't heard of mortified, you must pick it up. it contains journal/diary entries from peoples youths w/commentary on some of the writing. it is fracking (ml, is it ck or just k?) hilarious, i was laughing so hard i cried. i highly recommend it, go out and get yourself a copy today! but back to why it made me think of this... i was thinking how fun it would be to look back on this and laugh at the stupid things i wrote and see if i could remember the code words and the inside jokes and if they still bring a smile to my face... so i'll let you know in 20 years!

let's see... let's get you caught up in the life of g... m and i celebrated our year anniversary, yay! and we are on our way to our year and a half anniversary, woo! ummm work is work, though i did come up with a product idea and it looks like it'll get made and i can head up the design of it!!! so i'll keep you posted. i had a bit of a health scare that turned out to be nothing. i got a pain in my chest at work and it freaked me out so i got taken to the hospital, i got to ride in an ambulance, which was fun and now i can say i did it! but it turns out it was either severe heart burn or muscle rubbing against my rib cage... ewww i know gross! but it made me feel better that i went. they did blood tests, took x-rays of my lungs (to make sure one wasn't punctured or anything) and i was hooked up to a heart monitor for like 2 hours and everything came back fine. they explained the pain could come back and such. they were very nice and i feel much better. i do think it's hearburn/indegestion/gas (hotness!!) as the little pain i get now comes a bit after i eat, but with each day it's less and less and i am just watching what i eat... which i need to do anyway since i have become such a fat ass... so much for getting in shape. but i really do wanna jump back on that bandwagon. i felt so much better when i was working out. and this friday i am going to see mandy moore! i heart her! and of course on saturday i'm off to ka's beach bash woot!
